TWISTA IS BACK WITH A NEW ALBUM

Twista takes it back to the old school with new album, Adrenaline Rush 2007……

Nimble-tongued rapper Twista is back with a new album. The rapper, who has spent the past year in the studio with the Neptunes, Scott Storch, Toxic, David Banner, and Kanye West, will release his new album, The Day After, next month. He recently released the set’s lead single, “Lavish,” which was produced by the Neptunes.

Before hitting big in late 2003 with “Slow Jamz” featuring Kanye West and Jamie Foxx, it had been several years in between hit songs for Twista. The rapper explained that as bad as it may get, you’re always a hit away from being back at the top.

“You know besides that on the musical level, if you coming with it man, you can have a straight album that flopped. Career could be down the drain, if you go in the studio and make a jam, it’s a jam, you know what I’m sayin’, and can’t nobody deny it. You know that whole little theory about once you gone or once you’re career outta there it’s over, it ain’t true ’cause if if you go in the studio and you make a jam, who gonna deny it, you know what I’m sayin’?”
