REV RUN SAYS KARMA WILL TAKE CARE OF JAM MASTER JAY’S KILLER
Jam Master Jay was shot and killed on October 30th, 2002, while playing video games at his 24/7 recording studio in Queens, New York. Police believe the star knew his killer as witnesses say he embraced the alleged shooter before the visitor pulled out a weapon and fired. Unfortunately in the two plus years since his death, the police have been unable to make any arrests and haven’t come up with a theory or motive for the crime.
Reverend Run isn’t bitter about the unsolved murder of his close friend Jam Master Jay. Run is a strong believer in karma and he believes that the murderer will get what he or she has coming. The rapper said,
“I feel like when you get bitter, your life gets ruined. No I don’t feel like it, I know it. So you can’t walk around saying, ‘He did that to me, she did that. The world is not fair. You know I’d be making more money if they wasn’t holding a black man down.’ I’m not into, ‘Something is wrong. Everybody is wronging me. Oh I wish these detectives, they’re against us. I bet you if it was you know a rock group, they’d found…’ I don’t do that. That might be for somebody but that’s not for me.
