G UNIT DENIED ENTRY INTO CANADA
Rapper 50 Cent and his G-Unit aren’t exactly choir boys and the border authorities in Canada used that against teh group when they tried to enter the country for a string of performances this week. 50 Cent was allowed to enter the country after obtaining a temporary resident permit for his Canadian tour, but unfortunately, several members of his G-Unit clique weren’t so lucky and were turned back at the U.S-Canadian border. SOHH.com reports that Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep, M.O.P., and Young Buck were all denied entry into Canada because of their criminal records. Only Olivia and Lloyd Banks were allowed to enter the country and to accompany 50 Cent on his tour. |
During his first tour stop, 50 Cent addressed his immigration woes. He told the audience, “Somebody got shot the other day and they said it was my fault and didn’t want to let me in the country. I was in immigration for about two hours today and I thought about turning back. Young Buck got turned back. And Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep, and M.O.P. But I stuck it out…F–k the police!” |
After completing his Canadian tour, 50 Cent and the G-Unit will head to New Zealand and Australia in February. |
