SUGAR RAY BRINGS ’90S TO 2015 WITH UNDER THE SUN TOUR WITH BETTER THAN EZRA, UNCLE KRACKER, EVE 6
Sugar Ray has once again set in stone its Under The Sun tour 2015, and this time around they have Better Than Ezra, Uncle Kracker, and Eve 6 on the bill. So far only three dates are known for the tour, July 19 in Los Angeles, August 18 in Highland Park, Illinois, and September 3 at the Paramount in Huntington, New York. Better Than Ezra captured the Alternative Rock chart in 1995 with their song “Good,” Uncle Kracker left Kid Rock’s band to launch a successful career with “Follow Me” and the cover of Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away.” Eve 6 of course hit it big with “Inside Out,” and they four albums under their belt including 2012’s reunion album Speak In Code.
The tour was the brainchild of Sugar Ray’s frontman Mark McGrath who says he’s not under any illusion that they’ll be back among the biggest bands in 2015.
The tour in the past has featured Smash Mouth, Gin Blossoms, and Vertical Horizon among others.
