DMX’s fans are eagerly awaiting the rapper’s new album which was previously titled, Here We Go Again. DMX has sinced retitled the album, The Year of The Dog, Again. DMX has also released a new single from the project, “We In Here,” which was produced by Swizz Beatz.

The Year Of The Dog, Again is slated for a summer release and DMX hopes the project will keep his streak of Number One debuts alive. DMX made Billboard history when all five of his previous releases debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 albums chart. No other artists has been able to duplicate the fete.

“No. No. I think it’s my responsibility to tell them the truth. I’m not gonna set them up for a downfall. Life is perfect. You do the right thing and nothing bad will happen. Nah, that’s bulls**t. You give them the good, You give them the bad and let them know that regardless of what happens, get up and keep moving, you know?”

With his musical success, DMX is often viewed as a role model by young kids although his lengthy criminal record may not bode well with their parents. When asked about being a role, DMX shared that he doesn’t see himself as a role model. He said,
