ALICE IN CHAINS, RICHIE SAMBORA, WENDY DIO HELP CELEBRITY ROCK N BOWL FOR TJ MARTEL

With an Obama impersonator and an appearance by Richie Sambora and Orianthi, the T.J. Martell Foundation’s Celebrity Rock N’ Bowl tournament at the PINZ Bowling Center in Studio City earned $45,000 for the battle against cancer. Special MC for the night was Wendy Dio, who works hand-in-hand with TJ Martel for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund. Other attendees included Lita Ford, Josh Rand from Stone Sour, and Mike Inez of Alice In Chains among others.

Inez said that he’s been on board with TJ Martel for over twenty years, no matter how bad he bowls.

Wendy Dio said that she has a special place for the TJ Martel Foundation, which helped Ronnie when he needed it and vice versa.

Megadeth’s Chris Broderick said he was all aboard for the cause as well.

Others on board for the event were members of Dio’s band, Great White, Armored Saint, producer and former Kiss and Meat Loaf collaborator Bob Kulick, Dino Cazares of Fear Factory and comedians Brian Posehn, Craig Gass, and Joe Bartnick among others.
