JIMMY FALLON LONGS TO BE HEROIC IN ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES
Jimmy Fallon aspires to the heroism of his tiny elf-like character in Arthur and The Invisibles. |
As the wise-cracking miniscule elf-like creature Betameche Jimmy Fallon gets to join forces with big sister Madonna as Selenia and save the day in Arthur and The Invisibles. |
Jimmy says he likes the qualities that the little guy has and admired his heroism. |
“He’s kind of like a little wise-cracking dude. I get to have some funny jokes and he kind of wants to be the hero. I think everyone wants to do that now and then. Everyone wants to get asked for advice and help people and stuff like that. So that’s what he kind of is,he’s very cute little guy. I like him a lot. I was happy to be him. “It looks nothing like me except for the hair. The hair is a little crazy which is a little bit like me. It’s a toupee. Yeah, but I’m excited if I have a doll. If I have a doll that would be great. I could play with myself.” |
In his own life Jimmy has never had the chance to save someone’s life or the world for that matter but he aspires to have that challenge. |
“But I want to be heroic. I have all good intentions. I helped a girl fish her wallet out of a sewer with a hanger and a mini flashlight. I really did out of a sewer grate. She dropped her wallet in there and I fished it out and I got it for her and I said, ‘take care,’ and I left and she called some magazine and said, ‘Jimmy Fallon got my wallet and he didn’t even give me an autograph.’ That was like, what?! People are crazy.” |
Next Jimmy takes a dramatic turn in Factory Girl as a member of Andy Warhol’s beatnik entourage due in February. |
