ZUTONS DISCUSS FAVES AND NOT SO FAVES

The Zutons are set to release their new album titled Tired Of Hanging Around, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed, Who Killed The Zutons. The album comes out September 19, and the band is famous for incorporating different musical styles into their music.

The Zutons, who are considered to be on the cutting edge of new bands, were asked which groups they’re big fans of these days.

“The Zoids. I really like their album. The Racconteurs, I really like their new album, first album. It’s really good. Generally the things that Josh Homme does are quite good in Queens Of The Stone Age. I like Arcade Fire. I can’t think. Other bands as well around.”

The Zutons, who are considered to be on the cutting edge of new bands, were asked which groups they’re big fans of these days.

“Mars Volta for yeah. Mars Volta? Yeah. Van Halen. He’s into AC/DC. That’s some rubbish.”

The Zutons are a big deal in their native U.K. The band has been nomiated for the Mercury Prize for Who Killed The Zutons? The band also make a minor ripple here in the U.S. with their song, “Pressure Point,” serving as the soundtrack for a Levi’s commercial.
