YOYO SHOOTS THE COMEBACK REALITY SHOW

Ice Cube protege YoYo, whose real name is Yolanda Whitaker is on the comeback trail. The rapper recently appeared in a reality show titled, The Comeback. She explained why she decided to get involved with the show. YoYo said,

The rapper’s 1991 debut, Make Way For The Motherlode, featured her signature hit, You Can’t Play With My YoYo.” Her last release was 1998’s Ebony. The rapper, who has relocated to New Jersey, plans to release a comeback set next year.

“It’s coming out in a couple of weeks actually. We just actually finished Friday shooting the Comeback show. You know and that was wonderful. It was the first time I had let people inside my life to see me. At first I was wondering like ‘oh should I not do this, oh this is going to look tacky.’ And I was like what the hell, so what.”
