YOUNG CITY OF DA BAND FLIES SOLO
Young City formerly Chopper of Bad Boy’s Da Band is flying solo. The rapper will release his solo album, New Jack City, in March. The album’s forthcoming release is bittersweet for the rapper as he lost two homes and a limousine business in his native New Orleans to Hurricane Katrina. The rapper has already contributed $250,000 of his own money to relief efforts. |
New Jack City will feature guest appearances by Lil’ Wayne, Mannie Fresh, Chingy, Jody Breeze, T.I., Eightball & MJG, and Sean “Diddy” Combs. The lead single from the project is “Lil Daddy.” |

Being a solo artist is new for Young City but he did have the benefit of learning the ropes while in Da Band. The rapper shared what the learning curve was like. He said, |
