YELLOWCARD LIGHTS UP BILLBOARD AT NUMBER 5
Yellowcard’s new album, Lights And Sounds, debuts on the Billboard 200 album chart at Number 5, making it the hightest charting rock record for the week. |
The album was up against the Now #1 album and P.O.D.’s Testify, among others. Violin player Sean Mackin told us that Lights And Sounds is a make or break album for Yellowcard. |

Yellowcard’s last album, Ocean Avenue, sold two-point-five million copies worldwide, but some feel it could have been more had the industry come up with a legalized download system. Those at the label are positive the new media initiatives will slow down illegal downloads, leading to more sales. |
