(VIDEO) WWE Champion John Cena makes his action movie debut in The Marine.

Two-time world wrestling entertainment champion John Cena makes his movie debut in The Marine. Newly released from his tour of duty in Iraq his character comes home to find his wife kidnapped by a murderous gang. Stepping out of the wrestling ring and into the Hollywood game, John is poised to become the next big action movie star, doing all his own stunts including the fighting sequences.

John can easily pull the punches but getting the love scenes right, especially his first on-screen kiss with movie wife Kelly Carlson took a bit more practice to make it perfect.

“Action is always fun. If it’s one thing I can take from my experience it’s the ability to fight. The ability to blow stuff up and jump around and go crazy. That’s the stuff that I love to do. I loved fighting all day long for days at a time. I got to wreck up three or four Camaros. It was great jumping out of buildings that were exploding. The action was great but it was the other stuff like the romantic scenes, the very intimate scenes, the character to character stuff that wasn’t in your face intense action.”

It’s just John’s first film and already the script offers have been flooding in. Could a buddy movie with The Rock be far behind?

“Well the moment lasted all day long. I must’ve screwed that up about 100 times just to keep doing it again and again and again. She is beautiful, absolutely beautiful and a class act. But she can fight too. She’s a woman that can hold her own. She’s a very strong female figure and it was great to see that side of her and she’s fantastic and an unbelievable kisser. Oh a 10 plus. Trust me I screwed it up a bunch of times and I had the alibi too, It was my first movie I don’t know what I’m doing. We got to do it again. I’m sorry, it wasn’t right.”

The Marine opens Friday.

“Possibly a tag team collaboration between John Cena and Dwayne The Rock Johnson. I think that would be something that people would definitely come out to see. That would look like Bad Boys personified definitely. Because I know Rock I’d pretty much play it straight up. To tell you the truth I’d be more of a Martin Lawrence, maybe a little more jacked up but Rock is very much like Will Smith, very debonair, very smooth at the same time be very funny when he needs to be and one hell of an action star.”
