WU TANG CLAN N0 REUNION

Fans have been waiting for almost four years for a possible Wu-Tang Clan reunion and after the death of founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard, it appeared that a reunion was imminent but presently there are no plans for hip-hop’s first supergroup to reunite.

While group leader RZA didn’t seem optimistic about a reunion, he was high on the forthcoming album, Only Built For CUban LInx II, by Raekwon. RZA said,

“No comment on the Wu-Tang reunion but I will say this. The Only Built For Cuban Linx feels like a Wu-Tang reunion. The first Cuban Linx album had all the clan members on it except Dirty, you know what I mean? But people felt like that was a Wu-Tang album. They felt like it was one of our best albums and I’m not doing nothing less on part two.”

The Wu-Tang Clan is made up of RZA, GZA, the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Method Man, Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna, who became an unofficial group member following the release of the group’s platinum 1993 debut, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). The group’s last release was 2001’s Iron Flag.
