Aiden have released their 4th full length studio album titled “Knives” and the album debuted at #95 on The Billboard Top 200 Chart and a fantastic debut on the Indie Chart at #12. “Knives” which is Aiden’s follow up album to 2007’s “Conviction” was recorded at lead vocalist Wil Francis’ home studio in Seattle, Wa. The first single off “Knives” was “Scavengers of the Damned” as well as a special hidden acoustic Live song, “Lori Meyers” originally performed by NOFX. |
Artisan News caught up with Wil Francis to get his thoughts on the band getting back to Punk Rock basics on the new album. |
“We finished it in the early part of ’09 and it came out in May. It’s called “Knives” and it’s awesome, so check it out. For us, it’s kind of a back to basics Punk Rock in your face sing a long get sweaty, dance around and have fun record.” |
Aiden are currently on the road touring on the 2009 Warped Tour, which is the tours 15th Anniversay of Kevin Lyman’s Punk Rock Summer Camp. Aiden will be touring on Warped until August 23rd in Carson, Ca. Look for Aiden to announce a new round of tour dates in support of “Knives.” |
