In fact, Amy Lee revealed one of her dreams as a young girl, besides being in a rock band was to score music for films. So can Lee’s fans expect to see her scoring films in the future? |
Artisan News caught up with Amy Lee to get her thoughts on her dreams of scoring films. |
“I would love to do some scoring, I would love to be able to get into that. That’s been a big dream of mine as long as this has. I don’t know how long the break’s going to be or what the music is going to be like, but I’m definitely open for a cool opportunity to come up.” |
Lee continues to stay busy outside Evanescence as she recently sang a remake of “Sally’s Song” for the soundtrack “Nightmare Revisited,” which contains new material and covers of songs from the original “Nightmare Before Christmas” soundtrack from the film by Tim Burton. Rumors have been circulating that Lee is currently writing songs for a solo album, but as of press time there is no confirmation if Lee will begin her solo career or head back into the studio with Evanescence. |
