WILL I AM DROPS THIRD SOLO SET

Black Eyed Peas frontman and producer Will I Am released his third solo album, Songs About Girls, on Tuesday, September 25th. The first single from the project is “I Got It From My Mama (Genetics).” The album features a guest appearance by Snoop Dogg on the song “Donque.”

Will I Am, who is currently on an international tour with the Black Eyed Peas, released two previous solo sets through BBE 2001’s Lost Change and 2003’s Must B 21.

“I’ve been working in the studio every single day constantly since 1997. So it’s just now people are seeing the results of it you know. But it’s nothing new for me you know. So I don’t know how to like… I don’t know how to like take vactions and stuff. One time I tried to and it messed with me. I don’t like sitting still. I don’t like doing nothing. I always got to do something.”

The producer is currently working on music for Michael Jackson and the new Black Eyed Peas album which will hit stores next year.

Will.I.Am explained why he doesn’t seem to be able to take a break in between projects. He said,
