Wanda Sykes stars in the new animated feature Over The Hedge voicing Stella the skunk. As the master blaster of her animal family who uses her scent to succeed, the feisty comedian says she’s proud of the legacy she’s leaving. |
Wanda’s Stella gets a feline make-over which makes her feel perfectly pretty. |
“It was great because you know the other stuff that I’ve done I really didn’t want Pooty Tang to be my legacy. So I’m feeling really good about being a skunk.” |
The family is led by a raccoon con artist voiced by Bruce Willis and his turtle buddy Garry Shandling. Rounding out the forest animals is Steve Carrell voicing the nutty squirrel. rn |
“She’s finds a cat with a really long name so she just wants to call him Tiger. The thing is Stella at first goes through this huge make-over because they have to make her look like a cat. I think looking like a cat and seeing how pretty she looks, that gives Stella a little more confidence. She’s scared to death and a little hesitant but she’s gonna do it for her family.” |
