VELVET REVOLVER SLITHERS INTO 2008 IN NYC
Velvet Revolver joined Kid Rock and The Bravery at the Pontiac Garage to ring in the New Year at New York City’s Times Square. The band was happy to work on New Year’s Eve playing songs from their new album, Libertad, and their hit debut album, Contraband. |
As artists from previous years can share it’s truly an amazing experience, and Weiland and Slash couldn’t agree more. |
[Slash] “It was very cool to be here and to be up there for sure. [Weiland] “It was amazing. It was quite an honor, actually.” [Slash] “In between songs you get to look over the side of the building and you’re like, ‘Wow. That’s pretty intense.’ I’ve just always loved what I do I just love everything about it.” |
Velvet Revolver has a select tour of U.S. cities wrapping up on the West Coast in February. Weiland, Slash, Duff, Matt, and Dave then head to Australia, starting February 15, and the band hopes the visa troubles that plagued their entry into Japan won’t hold them up down-under. |
