UNEARTH CREATES HEAVIEST, FASTEST, MOST BRUTAL RECORD
(VIDEO) Unearth had a Date for production of their latest effort, and Buz says it’s the most brutal they’ve ever done. |
New England metal outfit Unearth has been in the top 5 in most metal charts with their album titled III: In the Eyes of Fire. The band showcased the songs on OzzFest with much approval, and the band has been touring the country as part of the Sanctity Of Brothers tour. |
Guitarist Buz McGrath told us that they wanted to make a statement with III: In The Eyes Of Fire. |
“Yeah, I mean, we definitely set out to make our heaviest, fastest, most brutal record that we could possibly make. We recorded with Terry Date. You might know him from other such releases by Pantera, Deftones, Dredj, just to name a few. We went to Seattle to record. We just kind of set up and jammed on it. We didn’t set up any click tracks or anything like that. We just played the songs over and over again to capture the feel and the vibe of it, something you can’t get all the time playing to a click track and stuff like that. It definitely has a raw, organic feel to it.” |
Unearth will be heading to Europe in November with Hatebreed. The band’s Sanctity Of Brothers tour winds down September 30 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and the band is set to start their tour overseas October 15 in Japan. |
