TUPAC BECOMES IMMORTALIZED
The world-renowned Madame Tussauds wax museum plans to unveil an exclusive Tupac Eternal exhibit featuring slain rapper Tupac Shakur. |
Shakur’s wax portrait is being sculpted by Jeni Fairey of The Tussauds Studio London. The sculpture is based on Tupac’s shirtless image in which the rapper is donning a bandana and showcasing his tattoos. |
The model consists of 330 pounds of clay and took over 700 hours of work. “Tupac is the most requested rapper by our guests,” said Jack Taylor, spokesperson for Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. “We’re answering their request.” |
The exhibit opens April 5 at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. The display is being considered for its own world tour in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Shakur’s death. |
