TRICK TRICK VOUCHES FOR EMINEM

Detroit-based rapper Trick Trick is set to release his major label debut, The People Vs., in December on Universal-Motown Records. The set features guest appearances by Eminem, Proof, Jazze Pha, and Big Diesel. The project’s lead single is “Welcome 2 Detroit” featuring Eminem.

Trick Trick is definitely a supporter of Slim Shady. He explained how Eminem put up $100,000 for his bail when he was facing first degree murder charges in 2003. He said

“He ain’t fake you know what I’m sayin’? I can appreciate that. When he came back and got D12, that was enough for me. I was like, ‘That guys for real.’ He came back and got five more black brothers, then he came back and got Obie Trice. What he did for 50 Cent, come on now, that was phenomenal. This man ain’t no racist. He ain’t no idiot. He’s a good guy. When they gave me a bond on the M1 (first-degree murder charge), you know, because of the evidence the judge gave me a $100,000 bond. Em was the first one to pay it.”
