Detroit-based rapper producer Trick Trick will release his major lable debut, People Vs., on December 13th. The labumfetaures guest appearances by Jazze Pha and Eminem who appears on the set’s lead single, “Welcome 2 Detroit.”

Most rappers get to have some input on what their lead single will be but according to Trick Trick, “Welcome 2 Detroit” was leaked so he had no choice but to make it his lead single once it began to pick up. The rapper said,

“It leaked. It leaked, you know what I’m sayin’? He called me to the studio. He had the track ready with the hook on it and his verse. I thought it was one of his songs he was just letting me listen to but he was like, ‘That’s for you. I don’t want nothing. That’s all you right there.’ I was like, ‘Sweet!’ You know we kept it under lock and key but I believe you know one of the big name labels, I ain’t gonna say their name, I believe they leaked it for the fact that it do Eminem just as much good as it does me.”
