TRICK TRICK BREAKS DOWN HIS BEEF WITH TRICK DADDY

Detroit-based rapper Trick Trick will release his major label debut, People Vs., in December. While he may be a newcomer on the national level, the rapper and producer has been releasing independent projects in Detroit since the ’90s. Always one to promote himself, Trick Trick made a trip to Miami to promote himself and ended up in a big beef with Trick Daddy.

According to Trick Trick, he was approached by affiliates of Trick Daddy who accused him of attempting to pass off his CDs as Trick Daddy recordings. A fight ensued and Trick Trick immedaitely started plotting his revenge. The opportunity presented itself during a Trick Daddy tour stop on Detroit.

“You know they couldn’t get down, you know what I’m sayin’? I was so aggravated. That was at a time in my life that I felt that I had to prove something. Not to nobody else but to myself. Like he got down on me. He tried to get on me. You know I left with all my jewelry, my presidential, my rings, my chains, everything. And we didn’t drive off fast, we just cruised away, you know what I’m sayin’, from the situation. I said when they come to my area I’mma show them how it’s done. I’mma show them how it’s done. I’mma whop everybody. It just so happen when he came, the guys who tried that in Miami was with him.”
