TRANSPLANTS AND PENNYWISE TOUR CANCELLED
Transplants and Pennywise have cancelled their tour, due to what Pennywise singer Jim Lindberg called a “timing” issue. Both bands have new releases to promote. Transplants released Haunted Cities this year and Pennywise just put out their new effort, The Fuse. |
At a recent Surfrider event Lindberg talked about the tour and what lies ahead for Pennywise. |
“Unfortunately, that just cancelled. Yeah. It just wasn’t the correct timing for everybody, but hopefully we’ll put something together. We’re actually going out with Death By Stereo for a couple of shows, in Florida, and then we’re doing some Northeast shows with them. We’re doing our own tour in November, so there will be a few chances to see Pennywise over the next few months.”< |
Pennywise is currently touring Florida and have dates scheduled through the end of September, winding down in Sayreville, New Jersey. |
As for Transplants, drummer Travis Barker is working with fellow former Blink-182 member Mark Hoppus on his new band, Plus 44. |
