TRADE STAR CONSIDERS INTERNET DATING

Alicja Bachleda who plays a Polish woman unknowingly trapped in an internet sex ring in the film Trade is a teenage pop star in her native Poland.

Alicja sometimes found it difficult to walk down the street without being recognized but says many of her fans would often reach out to her through e-mail.

“I was used to interviews and press and people recognizing me on the street. So I’m not surprised by comments on e-mails, I get fan mail as well and it’s lovely to read all those nice e-mails and what people think and what admire or dislike about me.”

Many of her fans admire her to the point of offering proposals of marriage, which Alicja is keeping on the back burner just in case.

“I’ve been asked three times, four times but I was 15 at the time so I just read it as a joke. It’s a good feeling that in case nothing works out in your life, you just screw every relationship you have there are some people that don’t know you so well that they would marry you because they just don’t know you. I think that’s a good option to have in the back.”

Trade which also stars Kevin Kline opens Friday, September 28th in select theaters.
