TOM BERENGER RESISTS PAINTINGS THAT COME TO LIFE

The Stephen King nightmares continue with The Road Virus Heads North on TNT Nightmares and Dreamscapes. Tom Berenger most recently seen on TNT’s Into The West stars as a famous writer who is diagnosed with a fatal disease and returns to his hometown. Tom says his character purchases a mysterious painting on the way home which appears to be alive changing murderously every time he looks at it.

Next Tom stars in the pilot episode of October Road set to air on ABC featuring Bryan Greenberg most recently seen in Prime playing a screenwriter who returns to his hometown to teach at the local university. The Road Virus Heads North airs 10PM Wednesday on TNT.rn

“The painting, that is all kind of a metaphor for what’s going on with him physically. I mean otherwise you have a story about a guy who’s getting close to death, whose health is going on him. That in itself is one kind of story but if you add on the supernatural with the painting that also becomes a metaphor for the disease.”
