TI SET TO RELEASE TWO NEW SINGLES
T.I. is set to enter into an Arkansas prison after the Memorial Day weekend, and he said that incarceration will have no effect on his musical legacy. |
T.I. is currently working on his fourth solo album, King, which hits stores on March 28th. The rapper plans to release two singles from the project next month including a remake of the 1994 Underground Kingz (UGK) hit “Front, Back And Side To Side,” which was produced by Mannie Fresh and features Bun B and Pimp C of UGK. T.I. also plans to release another single which is tentatively titled “Chirp Back,” which was produced by DJ Toomp who worked on two of the rapper’s previous albums. |
T.I.’s last release was from his group, the PSC. The rapper explained that he wasn’t too concerned with the set doing big numbers. He said, |
“I ain’t even trippin on no numbers as for as this album. As long as everybody that bought it, liked it, I’m good for the simple fact that we gonna be here. I’m good. After this album, we’re gonna drop a T.I. album. We gonna drop a Governor album. We gonna drop the soundtrack to the movie that I’m starring in. There’s gonna be another P.S.C. album or either another Mac Bone and AK album, C-Rod, Young Dro. We got all kinds of alternatives and all kinds of angles to hit people from.” |
