THREE DAYS GRACE: NO DODGEBALL
(VIDEO) Three Days Grace say they don’t need another hit, as in Dodgeball… Find out what this is about here! |
Three Days Grace are currently touring in support of their new album One-X, but they’ve learned several things from their promotional activities of their debut. |
When a new band hits the scene they’re asked to do all sorts of promo activities. One of those activities was a radio station promotion to play dodgeball with the band, and drummer Neil Sanderson and vocalist Adam Gontier say they’re never dong that again. |
[Neil] “Yeah the dodgeball thing was just unruly. I guess you call into the local radio station. It was in Milwaukee, and…” [Adam]”You win a chance to play dodgeball with Three Days Grace.” [Neil] ” So a couple of headhunters called in and basically they were out to kill.” [Adam] “We just showed up and it was this big auditorium thing and they split us into two teams and they made us fire balls at each other.” [Neil] “As much as I like to play drums with a pulled groin it’s not really suitable for our profession. There is still a dodgeball wedged up in at the top of the Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee. If you’re ever there check it out. I put it there.” |
Three Days Grace entered the Billboard 200 album chart at Number 5 last week, and it was the second highest debut, taking a back seat only to the new CD by Busta Rhymes. |
The band are on a brief hiatus, but return to the road with Hoobastank and Nickelback starting June 30 in Cincinnati, Ohio. |
