THE WHO PLANNING BIG 50TH ANNIVERSARY, LOOKS TO FANS TO DIG UP RARITIES

The Who hits 50 is a campaign by Universal Music celebrating the longevity of one of rock royalty. As it was with the Rolling Stones and The Beatles before them there will be releases, special promotions and events commemorating the bands golden anniversary. The group has announced a Greatest Hits compilation for release October 28 and a string of UK stadium shows.  In addition to that they are looking to fans who may have rare footage, photos or lost recordings, and aficionados who come up with the best material will be fully credited and given VIP tickets to the bands next tour.
