THE LOX SAY JAE HOOD IS OVER
(VIDEO) The Lox are tired of the music industry and the politics. The group will not be releasing anymore material on Interscope Records!!!!!! |
The Lox won’t be releasing a group album any time soon. Jadakiss and Styles P have also shared that they will not deliver any more solo albums to Interscope Records. The group has become frustrated with the recording industry especially Interscope Records. The relationship with Interscope started to sour once Jadakiss and 50 Cent began their war of words. Now the group believes that the powers that be have already taken sides as they point to the fact the Styles’ new album, Time Is Money, has been pushed back several times. |
Styles to MTV.com, “We’ve been on a promo tour for Sheek Louch’s album, and on the bus we just been talking about this sh–. They doing so much bullsh– to us, and it’s like you can’t do nothing. It’s like you work at a real job like at Key Food and you notice the conditions ain’t suitable for you and you ain’t really getting nowhere.” |
“Kiss do his part you know what I’m sayin? He’s out there with the big boys. Styles do his part, I do mines, you know what I’m sayin’? We all just play separate parts. It’s all pretty much the same but you know what I’m sayin’ I would say I’m more of like, I don’t want to say the brain, but I’m more in the meetings with whoever. Super Mario runs the label on the day to day bases. He’s president but I’m more of the cat that I’ll be at that same meeting.” |
Matters are further complicated by the fact that the group has been waiting for five months for a sit down with Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine. They also discovered that Ruff Ryders owners Dee and Wah Dean have been secretly negotiating a deal that would make Jadakiss a G-Unit artist. Styles said, “I don’t understand what the f— is going on. We keep speaking and speaking [to Ruff Ryders] and it seems like nothing is getting nowhere. The sh– is worse now. They trying to get Jada on G-Unit.” |
For now Styles and Jadakiss will focus on promoting Sheek Louch’s new album, After Taxes, and developing new talent for their D-Block Record label. Louch explained the different roles that they each play as label heads. He said, |
