The Game was scheduled to release his second album, The Doctor’s Advocate, on June 6th, but it’s been pushed back. No release date has been set for the project, but it’s still expected this summer. The Game said in a released statement, “My second album is the highest anticipated record coming out this year and I’ve been spending long hours in the studio to make sure it’s a classic. Look out for my masterpiece late summer.” |
The Doctor’s Advocate will feature the production of Dr. Dre, Scott Storch, Just Blaze, Kanye West, and Timbaland. The Game’s former mentor and frequent collaborator 50 Cent isn’t involved with the new album. |
“Yeah, I’m hungry, man, ’cause I bought a couple of houses for, you know, my mom and myself, and I need some more money, man. So I got to get back out there, man, and give the people what they want. I’m at a place where I’m lyrically comfortable, but I’m not too comfortable to miss the fact that the fans want and appreciate good music.” |
