THE ENTOURAGE BOYS CELEBRATE SEASON THREE
The boys of Entourage stepped out for their third season premiere doing what buddies do best, riff on each other. The series which tells the story of a group of twenty-something friends from Queens, New York making their way through Hollywood stars Adrian Grenier as movie star Vince Chase and his faithful companions including Jerry Ferrara as Turtle, the house manager. As in the show Turtle and Vince are constantly bantering with each other which holds true in real life. While Jerry was trying to explain his character he was waylayed by Adrian. |
This season Adrian’s Vince Chase has just been given the role of a lifetime playing Aquaman by director James Cameron who is on the series playing himself. Adrian says he’s not concerned about big screen competition from Superman. |
“Definitely a combination of a few of my different friends. I mean I’m not really much like the character in real life. I’m definitely more shy and respectful. Adrian: I’m doing an interview here. Jerry: Me too buddy. Do you believe this? See this is what I’m talking about. He’s just sour that I’m giving anecdotes and he is not. Don’t be sour. Adrian: You’re yelling and carrying on about what? Jerry: Adrian I have to say, he’s a bush leaguer if you know what I mean. This kid’s the best. We’re family. We’re allowed to talk to each other this way. Adrian: At least I’m not flat and dry in my performance.” |
The hit series is executive produced by Mark Wahlberg and is loosely based on his own posse growing up on the mean streets of Dorchester, Massachusetts. Mark says to show his true entourage might’ve been too much for viewers to handle. |
“There’s no need to compete. We’re all in this to save and protect. There’s no need to compete. We’ll work together.” |
You can also expect some big stars making cameo appearances in Entourage such as James Woods who plays himself in the first episode of season three which premieres Sunday, June 11 at 10PM on HBO.rnrn |
“It was just a lot of trouble. That was what we were gonna originally do with the show. We were gonna make it about the real guys and the real stuff that we did but it was too violent. Most people would just be turned off by a lot of it because we liked to settle all our differences with our hands. We don’t do that so much now but certainly when I first started in the music world and the craziness of all that it was pretty bad. It was too hard to find those guys anyway. Those are real guys. Anybody who could act was probably in jail. We couldn’t do it like that and I’m glad we didn’t because I’ve got my mom and people can watch it and enjoy it and not get scared so it’s nice.” |
