The Eagles have kicked off their 2008 North American Tour in support of the bands latest release ‘Long Road to Eden’ with a highly publicized performance on May 2nd at Stagecoach Music Festival just outside Palm Springs, California. The Eagles, consisting of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Timothy B Schmit and Joe Walsh released ‘Long Road to Eden’ in October of 2007 and it was the bands first studio album together in 28 years. The album debuted at No. 1 in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands and Norway and it became their third studio album, seventh release overall, to be certified at least seven times platinum. |
Other notable acts who graced the stages alongside The Eagles where John Fogerty, The Judds, Dwight Yoakim, Taylor Swift, Rascall Flatts, Tim McGraw, Trisha Yearwood, Glen Campbell, Mike Ness of Social Distortion, Dierks Bentey, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson and Carrie Underwood to name just a few. Photographer Brian Miller was on hand to capture The Eagles 2 hour set which included a multitude of hits including ‘Hotel California,’ ‘Life in the Fastlane,’ ‘Desperado’ and the bands current hit ‘How Long’ which won a Country Music Award for ‘Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.’ |
