When the teenage son of a very wealthy couple is kidnapped, the FBI and a private investigator whose only mission is to retrieve missing children get involved in his rescue and recovery in the new series Kidnapped on NBC. Delroy Lindo who played an agent involved in a kidnapping case in the film Ransom will play FBI agent Latimer King in the series. He says he dusted off his old notes and took some new ones too. |
Jeremy Sisto last seen on HBO’s Six Feet Under plays Knapp a former FBI operative who was kicked off the force and has now become a specialist in kidnapping cases with his own methods of finding the bad guys. Jeremy also met with agents whose primary goal was to find missing children to play his character. |
“Yes I have spoken with some FBI operatives. I actually went back when I started working on this and looked at the many notes that I had gathered from having worked on Ransom like technical things having spoken with FBI operatives in the past. Those notes, that information coupled with the people that I’ve spoken with this time around. I spoke with FBI operatives and NYPD operatives.” |
The couple Mr. and Mrs. Cain are played by Dana Delany and Timothy Hutton. Timothy who is a father of two sons 19 year old Noah and five year old Milo is relieved to come home at the end of the working day to see them safe at home. He says the show will deal with much more than just a kidnapping. |
“The only thing he didn’t like about working in the FBI is you had to follow certain rules that he felt didn’t make any sense. That we’re dealing with people who are kidnapping children he couldn’t follow them because they weren’t following the rules. So since he’s been kicked off he’s been tracking down children and doing it his own way.” |
Kidnapped premieres tomorrow at 10PM on NBC.rn |
“The interesting thing about this show is it’s centered around this kidnapping but it also deals with what happens to people in moments of crisis. What happens to a marriage? What happens to a relationship between mother, daughter and the child that was not kidnapped that’s in the house. Things like that.” |
