THE BRAVERY REMEMBERS SEPTEMBER 11 IN SONG

***WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE***rnrnThe meaning of September 11 was not lost on New York City band, The Bravery, and it helped inspire their first chart hit.

Vocalist Sam Endicott said that the event helped shape their first hit song “An Honest Mistake,” which he said was inspired by a sense of “Terror Booty” after that fateful day in 2001.

“It was kind of like, I had a really close friend and we had been friends forever and we started hooking up. We got together right around 9/11 and there was this phenomenon called “Terror booty” where everybody just started hooking up, everyone in New York.rnrn”Where the f–k was I?,” laughed guitarist Michael Zarakin.

Relatives of those killed on 9/11 read memorials to their fallen loved ones on Sunday in a special memorial tribute at the twin towers, which were leveled by two planes which struck the towers on that fateful day.

Meanwhile, the Bravery recovered, released their self-titled album, and have now released their next single, “Fearless.”
