THE BRAVERY REMEMBERS SEPTEMBER 11 IN SONG
***WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE***rnrnThe meaning of September 11 was not lost on New York City band, The Bravery, and it helped inspire their first chart hit. |
Vocalist Sam Endicott said that the event helped shape their first hit song “An Honest Mistake,” which he said was inspired by a sense of “Terror Booty” after that fateful day in 2001. |
“It was kind of like, I had a really close friend and we had been friends forever and we started hooking up. We got together right around 9/11 and there was this phenomenon called “Terror booty” where everybody just started hooking up, everyone in New York.rnrn”Where the f–k was I?,” laughed guitarist Michael Zarakin. |
Relatives of those killed on 9/11 read memorials to their fallen loved ones on Sunday in a special memorial tribute at the twin towers, which were leveled by two planes which struck the towers on that fateful day. |
Meanwhile, the Bravery recovered, released their self-titled album, and have now released their next single, “Fearless.” |
