THE APPRENTICE MOVES TO HOLLYWOOD
The Apprentice series is on location in Los Angeles for the sixth season. |
For the first time in the show’s history, The Apprentice is moving to Hollywood for season six. Donald Trump, the New York real estate magnate and his daughter Ivanka are traveling 3,000 miles for some hiring and firing shenanigans. |
Ivanka who is returning to the board room for her second year talks about shooting the series in tinseltown. |
“This has definitely been the most fun I’ve had this far. It’s been out in California which was a new experience not only for the show but for me as well. I’ve never spent a long bulk of time there. I think for a month and a half I was out of New York. But it’s been a terrific experience. I love having the show in L.A. The cast is amazing. They’re funny, they’re upbeat, they’re charming, they’re smart so it’s been terrific.” |
Host and show creator Donald Trump compares shooting the series on the West coast which will feature more of the movie business for the show’s challenges. |
“There’s a very different mind set between New York and Los Angeles. They’re both great places, I love ‘em both but New York is a little bit more frenetic. It’s a little bit wilder in certain ways. Los Angeles is more laid back but equally exciting. It’s a very different feel and that’s one of the reasons we wanted to do a version of The Apprentice in Los Angeles.” |
The Apprentice is looking into possibly Miami or Las Vegas for upcoming seasons but anywhere you go, the Donald’s signature catch phrase ‘you’re fired’ holds the same meaning. |
