Tha Dogg Pound isn’t wasting anytime in between releases. The group will release a new album in February.

Tha Dogg Pound is hard at work on anew album, Dogg Chit, which they plan to release in February. Daz and Kurupt have been in the studio working on the follow-up to 2006’s reunion album, Cali Iz Active. Dogg Chit will feature guest appearances by The Game, Snoop Dogg, Too Short, Bad Azz, Brother Lynch Hung, RBX, G. Malone, Jayo Felony, B.G. Knoccout, and Dresta.

Recently Daz explained that the multi-million dollar settlement he received for back Death Row royalties was actually paid out by others companies. Daz said,

“People wonder did I get the money from Suge Knight, no I didn’t get the money from Suge Knight. I got the money fromt he companies that was surrounded by Suge Knight. When you sue a person, everything is on hold. Don’t nobody get paid until everything is resolved.”
