TESSANNE CHIN TELLS FANS TO “COUNT ON MY LOVE” AND GOOD MUSIC

Tessanne Chin, who gained fame as the winner of Season 5’s The Voice, NBC TV’s reality based singing competition, has released her new album Count On My Love via Universal/Republic, and the singer was gracious enough to sit down with us last week and explain how she came upon the title of the album.

She also is a true mistress of all kinds of music, having grown up in Jamaica and later relocating to the U.K.  Tessanne talked about having musical parents, who were in a band.

Lastly, songs on the new album musically are both accessible and at the same time unique.  So, is the fact that her album Count On My Love is not confined to one music genre a good thing or a bad thing?

Lastly, Chin talked about what is coming up for her, including a journey  honoring her diverse ethnic background.
