TASTE OF CHAOS 2007 ANNOUNCED

The Taste Of Chaos tour will be back in 2007 with a power packed line-up and RockstarEnergy Drink returning as the sponsor. The Used will return to the fest, and they bring with them 30 Seconds To Mars, Senses Fail, Saosin, Chiodos and a slew of others.

The tour will start February 17 in Seattle, Washington and internet pre-sales for the tour will start December 1 at chaosmobile.com. The tour is spearheaded by Kevin Lyman who also organizes and runs the Warped tour, and in an interview a while back Senses Fail talked about the differences between the two festivals.

[Mike] “Uh, I think it’s…” [Dan] “It’s more laid back.” [Mike] “It’s more laid back because there are less bands, but it’s like the same vibe but at the same time Warped tour is like 3 times the size. There’s like sixty bands a day instead of… there’s like ten bands here everyday. It’s a lot of the same crew people from Warped Tour and everything it’s cool. It’s winter instead of summer, it’s indoors instead of outdoors for the most part. It’s still cool. It’s just a little bit different.”

The Taste Of Chaos tour is currently on an international run and will wind down November 21. Bands booked for the overseas jaunt include Senses Fail, Taking Back Sunday, Thursday and Underoath.
