TANK SAYS NEW ALBUM WAS AN ACCIDENT
R&B singer Tank took a five year break in between albums but it wasn’t because the singer-songwriter needed some time off. he actually spent the time writing and producing songs for Jamie Foxx and others. Tank recently explained the delay between albums. He said, |
Tank released his latest, Sex, Love & Pain, in May and the album debuted at Number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart after selling 103,000 copies its first week in stores. |
“I got caught up man, writing and producing for everybody and actually having some success at it, you know. And so it just kind of took over for a second and then we just accidentally slid into a Tank album. It wasn’t on purpose. The record company didn’t call for it. It was all an accident and here we are, back to the top.” |
