Now that Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby has sped to number one at the box office, Cal Naughton Jr. reveals what’s behind his and Ricky Bobby’s shake and bake success leaving the competition in the dust.

Talladega Nights grossed 47 million over the weekend beating Will Ferrell’s previous 31 million for his Christmas film Elf. The other place setters included Barnyard: The Original Party Animals, Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, Miami Vice and The Descent.rnrn

“Shake and bake literally means to shake and then to cook at a hot temperature. What it means no the track? I come up behind whoever the unfortunate soul is that we’re trying to overtake. I come up behind him and Ricky gets in my slip stream and then I sling shot him around like that move. He uses the lack of wind to get himself out around us. Then he wins first place.
