TALIB KWELI MASTERS CRAFT

Rapper Talib Kweli and Q-Tip are looking to give back to New York City students through the “Master IT!” outreach program.

The “Master It” program connects master artists from various fields with inner city students in order feedback on their work.

The program is part of a not-for-profit organization “Working Playground,” and took place at New York’s New Design High School March 29.

Kweli and Tip participated as spoken word masters, along with clothing designer Marc Ecko, MTV News correspondent Sway and choreographer Rosie Perez.
