TAKING BACK SUNDAY SETS SITES OVERSEAS

(VIDEO) Taking Back Sunday looking to take back Europe….

Taking Back Sunday may have come away empty at the MTV Video Music Awards for the MTV2 Award, but the band reveals they’re taking a different approach to breaking through overseas.

We cauught up with Taking Back Sunday earlier this month, and they talked about their upocoming plans.

“Next we are actually going on our first world tour, and it starts in New Zealand and it works its way around Europe and Japan and all these other countries that are very far from New York, and we end in the U.K. and that will take us right up to Thanksgiving to where we will come home and eat stuffing…lots of stuffing.”

Taking Back Sunday also says they’re taking a different approach in the U.K.

“Yeah over in the U.K. we released twenty twenty surgery, as the second single and we made a video where we were the band of Johnny Cash in Folsom prison, and it was a real exciting video to make. It was just for U.K. release. The first video here we just finished up.” “Yeah a song called ‘Liar (It Takes One To Know One)’.”

Taking Back Sunday joins Thursday and Anti-Flag as the main representatives on the tour which hits Australia, Japan and Europe this fall. The band’s “Liar (It Takes One To Know One) was the third most added track at Alternative Radio this week.
