TAKING BACK SUNDAY FIRES BACK AT FRED
Taking Back Sunday answered The Color Fred on comments that Fred Mascherino made saying the band would rather cook than make music! |
Taking Back Sunday has responded back to former guitarist Fred Mascharino. Adam Lazzara and the boys are releasing their album New Again, on June 2, and it’s the first with new guitarist Matt Fazzi. In October 2007, the band and Mascherino parted ways so he could devote more time to The Color Fred. |
Mascherino said that one of the reasons he left was that “the band was more about cooking food than making music,” according to Long Island daily Newsday. We asked Taking Back Sunday about those claims. |
[Adam Lazzara] “Oh, yeah…” (laughs) [Matt Rubano] “I’m still obsessed with cooking, and eating and sewing and dancing, and painting…” [Adam] “There’s a song off of New Again titled, ‘Capital M.E.’ That kind of lets you know where that guy is coming from. It’s so malicious, and he’s trying very hard to stay relevant.” |
Taking Back Sunday’s new single is “Sink Into Me,” which is currently at Number 21 on the Radio And Records Alternative Rock Charts. |
