T.I. TO STAR IN NEW MOVIE WITH DENZEL WASHINGTON

Denzel Washington stars in Book Of Eli, but he also produced it with his son co-producing, and he shared about not wearing underwear on the set.

Rapper-turned-actor T.I. has landed his second major film role. The rapper has joined the cast of Ridley Scott’s American Gangster which already includes Denzel Washington, RZA, and Russell Crowe. The film chronicles the story of a 1970’s drug lord who smuggles heroin into Harlem inside the coffins of Vietnam soldiers. Washington will play the drug lord while T.I. has been cast as his nephew. The film is already in production in New York City.

On the musical front, T.I. will be releasing a new video and single, “Live In The Sky” featuring Jamie Foxx, in the coming weeks. The song is the latest single from the rapper’s platinum plus album, King.

“I’m ready whenever the people ready you know. Whenever that gets old and the singles, you know, start losing spins and losing play on TV as far as video shows and what not are concerned. Whenever it loses the interest of the people, I’m ready to go.”

T.I. is already hard at work on a new album titled, T.I. Vs T.I.P. He explained that he’ll be ready to release the new album as soon as people start to lose interest in his latest release. T.I. said,
