T.I. MAY BE FACING LAWSUIT FROM DUKE UNIVERSITY
Duke University students are feeling short changed by Grammy Award winner T.I. The rapper performed at Duke University’s Cameron Rocks Concert on on Saturday, April 7th, but he allegedly showed up late for his performance and cut his set short after only 40 minutes. According to the school, T.I. was allegedly paid $70,000 for a one hour performance. According to sources, the rapper was late because he attended an unrelated dinner at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro while 3,000 students waited. The school is considering legal action against the rapper. |
In related news, T.I. is currently working on his new album, T.I. v T.I.P. The set will pit the rapper’s two personalities or alter egos against each other. he recently explained the difference between T.I. and T.I.P. He said, |
“They both have different intentions, different you know and different alternatives, and different interior motives but I mean like at the same time they both want to be great in whatever way they want to be great. T.I. want to be great in music. T.I.P. he holds more value to the more physical things in life you know rather than you know the things that we hold value on the inside. T.I. is making spot performances while working on the album as he deals with a personal loss. His ex-girlfriend Tomeka “Tiny” Cottle, suffered a miscarriage last month and lost the child they were expecting in July. |
