STORY OF THE YEAR MAKES ALBUM THEY WANT TO MAKE

Story Of The Year have released their new album, In The Wake Of Determination, and the band hopes that their fan base is ready for it. The band gets a little bit heavier and turns a little more towards rock with the new effort.

Vocalist Dan Marsala and guitarist Philip Sneed talked about the album and their comfort level with the new songs. Sneed told our cameras that this corrected all that was wrong with the first album in their estimation.

“It’s very different than the first. I think there’s enough qualities of it that compare a little bit so hopefully we won’t lose anybody that really, really loved the first record or anything. We were never really close to 100 percent satisfied with the first record in how it came out so our goal with this one was just to be very, very happy with what we were doing and that we were going to be 150 percent behind this record from beginning to end. People should definitely expect a very real record.”

Story Of The Year is set to embark on the In The Wake Of Determination tour, and they’ll be promoting the album and their first single, “We Don’t Care Anymore.”
