STONES, SCORSESE SHINE LIGHT ON PERFORMANCE

Martin Scorsese takes a unique look at The Rolling Stones and trying to capture them on film for a movie.

Academy Award winning director Martin Scorsese has made a film about the rock band The Rolling Stones, called Shine A Light, and it’s set to debut in theaters April 4. The movie is part Scorsese directing the film, part concert documentary, and part philosophy as he looks at the voyage of the rock band with nostalgic interviews and performance clips thrown in.

Mick Jagger, singer for The Rolling Stones, reflects on some of the things he said as a young man.

Scorsese said that this is not necessarily a documentary on the band, but a very different and unique movie.

Shine A Light features guest appearances from Buddy Guy, Christina Aguilera, and Jack White of the White Stripes.
