STEVE VAN ZANDT DEFENDS THE SOPRANOS
Steve Van Zandt showed his support to his HBO brother show Entourage for their third season premiere. The season finale of The Sopranos seemed like a cliffless hanger for many fans who were left dangling by the show’s anti-climactic ending. Steve who plays Tony Soprano’s right hand made man Silvio Dante weighs in on the last episode. |
Steve, better known to his music fans as guitarist Little Steven of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band took time off from the road to try his hand at acting in The Sopranos. He says he thinks he’s getting better but his wife Maureen who also plays his wife in the show has the real chops. |
“I liked it. You know I thought it was very good, interesting, some different kind of twists there, unexpected and I liked it.” |
Unfortunately you’ll have to wait until at least 2007 to see what happens to Steve Van Zandt on The Sopranos but in the meantime there’s always reruns. Steve says he’s enjoying his time off. |
“I think I get a little better every year. It’s something you probably never stop learning. But Maureen is really the actor in the family to tell you the truth but you know I try.” |
“Well I got a couple of little things going on. I have a radio show The Underground Garage and we also now have over a million listeners on my radio show. Then we have a whole channel on Sirius Satellite radio and we’re gonna do three national tours this year, September, October, November for Rolling Rock. We’re always trying to bring rock n roll to the people whenever we can.”rnrn |
