STAIND OPENS SPORTS CHAPTER
Staind is set to play the Boston Garden on Saturday, January 27 as part of an NHL promotion with their hometown Boston Bruins. There is no additional price for admission. |
Also the band is set for the February 11 Budweiser Shootout auto race in Daytona, Florida. Vocalist Aaron Lewis will sing the national anthem and the band will play after the race. This is part of their next leg of dates in support of thier album Chapter V. Guitarist Mike Mushok told us that their latest effort is crucial and they’ll do everything they can to support it. |
“I think every album is crucial. I don’t think… We’ve never put out a record that I didn’t think was crucial or could make or break where we are or what we do. You’ve got to put your best forward every time you put out a record. That’s what sometimes takes records a little bit longer, because you want to make sure. You only get one chance to put it out, and you want to make sure that what you’re releasing is the best possible thing that you can put out at that time.” |
Staind’s Chapter V debuted at Number One on the Billboard chart upon its release this past August. The band will tour Europe following their tour of the States. |
